Avoid these guys at Negombo beach 🇱🇰

It's pretty hard to visit this beach in Negombo and have a good time. I don't have too much of an issue with people selling things in general, but when you go somewhere to enjoy yourself and not even 1 minute passes between people targeting you for sales, it's pretty annoying.

The bit that annoyed me more than anything was that I continually had to ask them for the price, and they wouldn't give it. After I said no, very few of them took that as 'no'. No means yes to these guys - think of that what you will. How often does that move from sales to something more sinister?

This happens all around the world, it just so happened to me whilst I was filming.

The reason I was on the beach making this video was that I was looking for somebody to gift the Nepali hemp bag to but the only people I encountered were salesmen. There was a tiny local store near my hotel with a super friendly guy who spoke great English. I asked him if he had a daughter, he said yes, so I gave the bag to him to give to the daughter. I bought it in Nepal but it wasn't really suitable for my travels, so I replaced it with a hiking backpack. Tanya also wanted to swim, but it started raining.
