I was in Pune with Manali, and she decided that I should try Misal, which is a typical Indian food. In this restaurant in Pune, Misal comes with 4 different sauces from different regions of India, with one of the being described as super spicy. Manali said that even Indians find this sauce very spicy!

How will I, a foreigner in Pune, handle eating this spicy Indian food?

Are there any other places where you'd like to see a foreigner trying Indian foods? Any specific Indian foods you'd like to see a foreigner try whilst in India?

Indian has some of the spiciest food in the world apparently, but I'm yet to find it. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, maybe it's not really that spicy, or maybe I'm broken.

Misal pav is a popular dish from Maharashtra. It consists of misal and pav. The final dish is topped with farsan or sev, onions, lemon and coriander. It is usually served hot with bread or rolls toasted with butter and buttermilk or dahi and papad. It is served as a breakfast dish, as a snack and also as a full meal.

Also, Manali is married - do not send her weird messages. I also met her husband, cool guy. Don't be creepy to her, or any other woman. Have some restraint and respect. Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thetravelerepicurean/
