Morel Mania- Finding morels under maple trees in Washington state.

In this video I come across a very healthy patch of beautiful Morchella growing under maple, of all trees, in Western Washington. I used to think that morels needed Ash, Cottonwood, or Conifer to grow. Boy, was I proved wrong.
I was out strolling for oyster mushrooms when I came across tons of what I believe to be Morchella americana, a blonde morel, although when they get a bit more mature they do look darker, so I may be wrong on the exact species.
Either way, they are edible and choice and I will show you how to ID them, gather them, what habitat, how they like to grow, and other useful tidbits. So come with me into Mushroom Wonderland!!
