The Dictators Go Girl Crazy! [1975]

The Dictators came out of the Bronx in the mid-70s with an irreverent, humorous and energetic brand of rock n' roll.

Their signature style of gruff vocals, casual silliness, and super competent musicians is completely unique, and very New York.
Like The Ramones working parallel to them, they reach back to the early 60s rock n' roll and beachy vibe. It's going back to basics, to the root of this music.
Infectious melodies, witty lyrics, and solid playing make this album really special.

Go Girl Crazy!, along with Manifest Destiny from 1977 make for a perfect pair of early American punk - whatever that means for you.
It's a raucous ride of high energy songs.
