Operation Mongoose - Overthrowing Cuba

Operation Mongoose was a United States-sponsored operation conducted in Cuba by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) with the aim of removing Fidel Castro's regime. It began in November 1961 and lasted until October 1962. Operation Mongoose included multiple strategies to weaken or overthrow the Cuban government, including sabotage, propaganda campaigns, economic sanctions, psychological warfare, and assassination plots against Castro.
