In our previous video about the new Skilsaw 12" Worm Drive Miter Saw ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAUsS9tjxME&t= ) we had some major issues with the fence not being square to the table, lots of blade chatter while cutting hardwood and 4x4 material, excessive noise from the motor, and the price tag for a saw that did not do finish cuts. Did we get a bad saw? Did others not test theirs as we did? We do not know so we took ours apart to see what the build quality was like and if there was an issue we could find.

The biggest things we were looking for was if there were bushings or bearings in this model. Could we see a difference or tell that the new parent company of Skilsaw, Chervon, made some shortcuts in quality to save money.

This disassembly of the new Skilsaw 12" worm drive miter saw was very interesting and proved a lot of things to us. We look forward to your comments on the build quality and what might have been giving us the problems we had.
