Right Torque Wrench - If you do a lot of automotive work, on single torque wrench you most likely own multiple torque wrenches for different jobs.  That goes the same for tools that one would take with them when they travel and fix things on the road.  In our case, we do a lot of traveling to ride and test items in an off-road environment.  We need tools that will hold up to traveling and still remain accurate and usable after sitting in less than ideal environments.

This Summit Racing Torque Wrench has been a great purchase and we were pleased to see it was an ATD-12503 model.  ATD has been in the tool market since 1977.  They also offer many different Made in the USA models of Torque Wrenches.  The 12503 specifically has a great grip, a very positive lock slip collar and great accuracy in a small package with a blow molded case.

This torque wrench works from 20 to 150 ft lbs and is accurate within 3%.  This is the perfect size for smaller passenger cars or side by sides.  In a pinch, we could use it to torque the spare tire on our F250 is needed.
