I can't believe I caught this on camera! In this video you'll see a honey bee sucking up water thought her straw like tongue called the proboscis. You'll actually see the little drops of water disappear.

A honey bee can load up to 25 mg per load of water and take it into the hive. Bee's drink water for much needed nutrients, they give it to the young larvae bees, they use it to regulate the temperature in the hive and to dilute their stored honey.
