I was reading in Ezekiel chapter one about the four living creatures. I came across the verses that spoke about the "Spirit being in the wheels." It stated that wherever the Spirit was to go they went.

They did not turn to the right or left but only where the Spirit went, and they only went straight forward. When the Spirit stopped the four creatures stopped and let down their wings. Ezekiel 1:12, 19-21.

I thought about the words Ruth spoke to Naomi in (Ruth 1:16-17). They were basically the exact same words being spoken from her heart to her mother-in-law. Ruth gave up her life and plans. She went as a stranger to Bethlehem. She was a widow herself. She lived out those words till the end of her life.

It says in the Bible that God is longsuffering. He waits long. There comes a point that He will want all of a persons life. Though not everyone will give up their lives for Christ.

They are filled with fear in thinking that if they do so, then they will suffer losses and harder, rougher roads. Those sufferings and losses with harder, rougher roads will come anyway.

However those that lay down their lives for the Lord, will never regret it. Jesus will come in right away and fill up those people with more of Himself to the overflow. "Full of glory and joy unspeakable). So loss is only gain to the believer.

Are you feeling like Jesus is calling you to this place of complete surrender? Only you can know the answer. Do not worry about all the details. Ruth only spoke those words once and then walked it out.

That is how you are to do it. Remember Ruth's reward. From her came her great-grandson King David, then later Jesus Christ. This is what happens when you completely let go of yourself to God.

Whatever is holding you back, is holding you back from a life Christ is waiting to give you that is full and flowing like a great and mighty river of crystal clear waters. There is only great loving-joy in service to His throne. He beckons, "Come..."

“Lord, I give up all my own plans and purposes, all my own desires and hopes and accept Thy will for my life. I give myself, my life, my all, utterly to Thee to be Thine forever. Fill me and seal me with the Holy Spirit. Use me as thou wilt and work out Thy whole will in my life at any cost, now and forever.” – Betty Scott Stam
