Milwaukee Tool is entering its 10th season of heated gear and we could not be more thrilled. This is the first year we were able to order our normal size, XL, and have it fit a 6'4" person in the sleeve length. The past few seasons, Milwaukee has been laser-focused on getting the right materials and bringing the quality to its peak, but us tall guys were left ordering a size larger jacket than needed to fit our arms properly.

With the new AXIS Heated Layering System, the coat fits absolutely perfect with zero issues of any kind. This is the first Milwaukee M12 heated gear that has ever fit us perfectly!! Have you been in the same situation with Milwaukee Heated Gear?

The New Milwaukee Tool M12 AXIS Heated Layering System is a two jacket system with the inside jacket the heated layer. This layer can be worn alone, under any other jacket, under the GRIDIRON Workshell or available HYDROBREAK raingear, or it can be zipped into both and worn as a single jacket. The othtions with this are endless!

The AXIS heated layer can be purchased as a jacket or also as a vest. We have them both and have been pushing for people to try the vest for years as it will fit under anything and help to really keep you warm while wearing anything you wanted.

Thermally, Milwaukee Tool has changed up this new gear slightly because it is meant to be worn under other items. They have removed the heated areas in the pockets and hoved them up to your neck area. This gives a heated area close to your blood vessels in your neck allowing for fast heating of your head and body.

Runtime is going to vary based on climate and the number of zones you have running. We were able to get almost 2 hours of runtime with everything running on high and close to 8 hours with one zone running on low. That is pretty significant and a huge improvement from the numbers we were getting 5 seasons ago.

Heated gear is changing for the better. At this point, there are no downsides to the clothing and it will quickly find its way into all winter work and play activities.
