Garage lighting in most homes is pretty poor. This includes Garages, Basements, and Pole Barns as most people do not want to spend the money on lighting while building. Contractors do not put a lot of money into garage lighting because they do not see a return on the investment. The majority of people do not work in their garage or barn. The app is free. There is most likely a little bit of fluctuation in Lux numbers between phones. This app gives you an idea where your space is currently at and it will let you know what you should be able to expect after the upgrade. IMHO, this gives you an idea of how much of an improvement you will see before spending the money.
