Follow these steps to remove history in Opera GX:
1. Click on the hamburger menu on the top right.
2. Scroll down to "Privacy & Security".
3. Where it says "Browsing data", click on the "Clear" button.
4. Make sure "Browsing history" is ticked.
5. Select "Time range" to "All time".
6. Click on the "Clear data" button.
