Streamlight vs Olight vs Surefire
Surefire

The SureFire story begins in 1969 with the power of the laser for industrial applications.  As most businesses grow, part of the owner's hobby and passion, shooting, got incorporated into his business.  In 1979, SureFire patented a laser sight for weapons.

Over the next many years, the company worked to serve law enforcement's needs for a weapon-mounted flashlight.  Soon after the SureFire WeaponLight was born, and low-light law enforcement and military operations would never be the same.  The SureFire name and reputation for quality with excellence took the company to the top of the law enforcement and military contracts.

Surefire currently serves the needs of law enforcement, combat arms troops, and even Special Operations Forces across the world.  There is a known quality with the product, but that does come at a cost.

Olight

Olight is was started around 2008 and has been focused on quality, pride in technology and a 5-year warranty that takes care of customers.  Olight sells a wide variety of lights that are affordable but useful for EDC, law enforcement, military, and outdoor hobbyists.  Olight creates great quality but keeps the prices closer to what budget-minded civilians are willing to pay for a good light.  Olight also has weapon-mounted lights that are excellent for home defense and concealed carry.

Streamlight

Streamlight started in 1973 with the approach that they would listen to customers and build what they wanted.  Customer feedback is what drives the company to work to improve. Customer service has been the main goal of the company and it shows. They are connected to their main audience and strive to give them everything they want.  Streamlight guarantees its products to be free of defects, including LED, for a lifetime of use.
