Our excitement to find a flashlight that has magnetic charging and a Micro-USB for charging were intense. We thought we found the perfect light in the PowerTac E5R-G4, the newest generation of the E5 series. PowerTac claims it to be the perfect light for EDC, police, or military duty. Well, we hope we received a bad one as ours failed.

Luckily we were able to complete the review of the PowerTac E5R G4 1800 lumen flashlight due to the order we did the video. PowerTac claims this has 320 meters of throw, but we found this light to be perfect for 100-200 foot use as the amount of light thrown in that area is perfect for EDC. The PowerTac E5R-G4 can be a mounted weapon light with optional Long Gun Kit Upgrade but we question how well it will take the recoil if it will not survive our testing.
