Proudly Made in the USA with Global Materials!  American Workers formed the DEWALT 52-in Wide Rolling Tool Cabinet and Chest into this black beauty of a toolbox.  Made in the USA is very important to us, and we hope you also, along with a good price.  When pricing the DEWALT tool chest and cabinet online, remember that shipping is going to cost a serious amount!  This box comes on two large and fairly heavy pallets.

This DEWALT 52-inch Tool Cabinet and Chest is constructed of double-wall 18 and 20 gauge steel.  It has sixteen 200-pound and one 300-pound load capacity, full-extension ball-bearing drawer slides with the POSI-LATCH drawer latching system.  This system is not a soft close, so it will release the drawer by lifting the drawer trim.  DEWALT incorporated a heavy-duty keyed internal locking system to safeguard tools.

There is power supplied to both the upper and lower tool storage areas, the lower being open and not lockable and the upper being in the under-lid area which has gas struts to provide access with easy opening and closing.  All drawers have DEWALT embossed drawer liners and one DEWALT embossed mat is included for the upper cabinet under the lid.  This cabinet feels very large with a 21-inch depth.

We hope you care about purchasing products Made in the USA.  DEWALT is a brand that seems to care more than others by assembling and working to make more tools in the USA.  As labeled in the sticker on the front of the tool box, there are still global materials used in the construction of this box.  There is and some of the places you will find the global materials might surprise you.  The first place we found was the casters.  How hard is it for a USA company that makes toolboxes to make their own casters?  Evidently harder than we think.

No matter how we spin this, we as a country are still better off since SB & D has brought back many tool manufacturing to the USA.  Many DEWALT tools also proudly fly the American flag touting they are built int he USA with global materials.  We support them and hope they continue to bring more jobs back to the USA!

Over The Years

DEWALT has had some awesome tool boxes over the years.  You might remember a very bright yellow set that came out around 2015.  Those tool boxes were very familiar to many others on the market but the color made them stand out like no other tool box we have seen.  The new models have come to the USA for production and become a bit less flashy.  Black is very common in tool boxes and we feel this fits in well with the yellow DEWALT labeling.

We really support manufacturing in the USA and have for some time.  As a country, we need to be able to make products we might need at any point in time.  Having plants and facilities that can set up and provide Americans with a quality product is very important.  Pricing for American made products is also important and if you look around, these toolboxes can be found for a fair deal.  Remember the online pricing includes free shipping for most of these and the shipping is not going to be cheap!
