What if our government has been using us as guinea pigs? If you think that's far-fetched, consider the US Army's biological warfare experiments on the cities of Savannah, Georgia and Avon Park, Florida in 1956 and 1957. The United States Army conducted a series of experiments in order to determine if mosquitos could be used as a means for transmitting diseases like yellow fever and dengue fever. In these experiments, the US Army released millions of infected mosquitos into both cities. Unfortunately, many citizens living in these cities contracted illnesses such as fevers, respiratory problems, stillbirths, encephalitis and typhoid from the infected mosquitos.
