Is Being Angry a Sin? #shorts

Is being angry a sin or is it sinning while being angry that is truly a sin? In this short I explain how sinning, which is also an act of rebellion against God and His Holiness, is what is not good, but to be angry about something in and of itself is not the same thing as sinning.

When you believe in Jesus you would practice the fruit of the Spirit: self-control that prevents you from sinning while being angry or while in your anger. An example of someone sinning in their anger would be someone plotting evil in their heart and meditating on revenge and hurting or hating another while they are angry at a person. This can not be going on at the same time while we would be glorifying God because when we focus only on Jesus we are meditating on His Word day and not and not on hurting someone, seeking revenge, or plotting against someone else even if that other person has wronged you (but remember that if this is the case that person has FIRST sinned against and wronged God).

God has given us the gift to express our emotions when He designed us and one of those emotions is anger, and He desires for us to express our emotions in the manner that He originally designed for our emotions to be expressed; which would be glorifying God and not sinning in our emotions. So no, being angry is not a sin but sinning in your anger is a sin.
