Treasures in Earth & Treasures in Heaven

Jesus tells us in Matthew chapter six about 'treasures' - our goals, accomplishments, works, - and that we must seek the spiritual first. In I Corinthians, Paul the Apostle speaks of building upon the Faith that we have been brought into. Wood, hay, and stubble will be burnt up; but the true gold, silver, and precious jewels of spiritual value will remain. While he is speaking mostly of doctrine, there is a sense of Matthew six also.
