$1,600,000 Gold Bucket Heist That Happened In Broad Daylight [WITH FOOTAGE]

On September 29, 2016, in broad daylight, the gold bucket heist occurs. The gold bucket thief would be identified as Julio Nivelo. The gold bucket stolen would weigh 86 pounds and contain $1,600,000 in gold. This 1.6 million in gold is then converted to cash through sales through the black market. This video shows footage of the $1,600,000 worth of gold being stolen from the back of an armored truck.

The gold bucket would be stolen in NYC. NYPD released surveillance video of the gold theft for the public to help find the suspect. They also intially believed the bucket to be filled with gold flakes but Julio Nivelo claims that they were 2 solid gold bars.
