Guerra de galaxias AKA The Mexican Star Wars

In 1983 after the success of Return of the Jedi, a small independent film studio in Mexico attempted their own knockoff version of Star Wars called Guerra de Galaxias (Galaxy War)

Rumor has it that the film went over budget early during filming and as a result the difference in quality between costumes and special effects is jarring in some scenes.

Due to a limited production budget, and blatant copyright violations no distributors wanted to touch it.

Physical copies of this film are near impossible to find.
