This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding the beginning of Jesus' Galilean ministry. This 17th Bible study compares verses and discusses Jesus' healing of a man with palsy in the city of Capernaum (Matthew 9:1-8; Mark 2:1-12; Luke 5:17-26). This Bible study also proposes that the Pharisees (a popular sect during Jesus' day) should have considered Jesus' ability to forgive sins due to the miracle they witnessed. Other verses referenced during this Bible study are: Luke 7:47-50; Acts 23:8; John 3:1-2. Overall, this is our 57th New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
