Jeff Bezos Dumping the Washington Post to Buy the Washington Commanders! Allegedly...

There's a new report circulating that the founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, is looking to offload the Washington Post in order to purchase the NFL's Washington Commanders. This is a hypothetical scenario as one source doesn't mean anything in today's day and age of terrible journalism... but speaking of the Post, it's hard to wonder why Bezos wouldn't be looking to offload a company that is hemorrhaging subscriptions and set to layoff all but essential staff. He can sell if for pennies on the dollar and still buy most of the NFL in an afternoon. This is contingent on Dan Snyder, the current owner, pulling the trigger on a sale to the bald headed buffoons' who's paper ran a story that got him in serious trouble. It's speculation right now, but powerful speculation for the journalism and professional sports world.
