Russia Opens New Airbase Near Aleppo

Russian forces and the Syrian military open a new airbase east of Aleppo. The former al-Jarrah airfield has been restored after ISIS-militants captured it in 2017. The airbase is now under the command of Russian Aerospace Forces.
