In today’s lesson, we learn the true meaning of Easter! God loves us so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for our sin by dying on the cross. Then God raised Him from the dead 3 days later! Jesus’ resurrection gives us hope for eternal life and God gives new life to everyone who trusts in Jesus. When we believe in Jesus, we can be friends with God forever. Jesus is alive and that is why we celebrate!
