Sen. Manchin: WH 'not responsible' on debt ceiling

Sen. Manchin: "You can't continue at $31.4 trillion and growing on a daily basis and then thinking that we're going to have this control as far as – we've incurred in two decades, 20 years, $25 trillion. It's unconscionable that this could happen. And it's happened – you want to blame, blame both sides." Manu Raju: "Should you talk to the other side?" Sen. Manchin: "Absoultely. If they demand this, this, this, the public should know what they are demanding." Manu Raju: "But is it responsible for the White House to say no negotiation?" Sen. Manchin: "I think that's not going to happen and it's not responsible. This is a democracy. We have to talk to each other."
