We’ve all been on various teams: sports teams, marching band, military, school projects. The key when you’re on any team is to determine what your position, role, or responsibilities are. If you’re a Christian, you’re on Team Jesus, and the Bible says that the Holy Spirit then determines which spiritual gifts to give followers of Jesus to be most effective for His Kingdom. In 1 Corinthians 12-14, Paul dives into what these various gifts are, but he spends all of chapter 13 reminding the believers about the true purpose and proper practice of the spiritual gifts.
