Speculative Attack Against the Dollar - David Seroy

David explains how the Zero Protocol allows users to engage in a speculative attack on the US dollar by issuing liabilities measured in US dollars and locking up Bitcoin collateral. By creating new dollars out of thin air and increasing the amount of dollars in circulation, the value of the dollar decreases as a result of added inflation. The goal is for the value of the liability to decrease over time, which would result in an increase in the value of Bitcoin due to its scarcity. David also highlights the advantages of using the Zero Protocol, such as 0% interest on loans and flexible repayment, as well as the potential for innovation in the decentralized finance space.
