Adrian Garvey: Springboks Career & 1998 Tri-Nations Victory

In this episode of Front Row Rugby Springbok Rugby legend and former prop Adrian Garvey discusses his career with the Springboks, as well as his initial time in international rugby with Zimbabwe. Garvey represented both countries at the Rugby World Cup and helped South Africa win the 1998 Tri-Nations. He shares here his experiences of losing to the 1997 British and Irish Lions, the coaching differences between Andre Markgraaff, Carel Du Plessis and Nick Mallet, his unique athleticism as a tighthead and the Springboks’ incredible run of 17 Test wins in a row.
