1. lesser people played God with my life--they should learn a lesson or two from me! For certain.
2. it seemed as if sociologists, anthropologists and the like participated in the game of life here, calculating their figures and numbers, gathering stats and results...valences--measurements of reactions to provocations and similar. AS IF. Again. LESSER people playing God with MY life. AS IF!
Brandi Carlile in her song I Will talks of people who NEVER ONCE learn from the people they should learn from, instead they self-righteously pontificate and assume people like me have to learn from them. AS IF. Here are the lyrics attributed to Brandi Carlile - I Will

I don't think you ever learned a thing from me.
But I'm sure that you want me to learn from you.
And you've drawn heavy handed lines around morality.
About yourself, but I don't share your point of view.

ALSO: Coldplay's The Scientist Lyrics are apropos (video includes Allen Iverson's shirt #3 from Phildelphia...and, boy, was a Coldplay ever laid down here on 626 South 19th Street Apartment 1F where I lived...BIG TIME) ---But..."I'm still standin' like I ever did, looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid!" Elton John

Lyrics
Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
Tell you I set you apart
Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions
Oh, let's go back to the start
Running in circles, coming up tails
Heads on a science apart
Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh, take me back to the start
I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart
But tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start
Running in circles, chasing our tails
Coming back as we are
Nobody said it was easy
Oh, it's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I'm going back to the start
