Sin Tek Bio, Jakarta's 300-year-old Buddhist temple [Chinese New year special] 🇮🇩

Today is Chinese New year, or Imlek, as it's called in Indonesian. A few days ago I visted the oldest Buddhist temple in Jakarta, tucked away from the main road along a small alleyway in an old area of the city. This temple was first built in 1698 and is the oldest Buddhist temple in Jakarta, but it doesn't even make the top ten oldest in Indonesia! How amazing is that!
