Will A Musical Kill The Joker Franchise?

Momma Mia! The sequel to Todd Phillips's Monster Smash Hit - 'The Joker' is reported to be set as a musical. So, what does this really mean? Does this mean we're going to see the Joker sing while falling in a vat of chemicals similar to Gene Kelly singing in the rain? Will Lady Gaga who plays Harley Quinn - be seen singing another rendition of Stupid Love in the movie? Can Todd Phillips bring it all home again and recapture the magic from the first film? By basing the film as an insanely dark twisted musical portrait of our two favorite psychopaths from Batman's rogue gallery! To be honest, we're quite intrigued by the premise.
