Did a twitch streamer’s grandparents just get swatted?! Swatting is getting out of hand. If you don’t know, swatting is the illegal and very dangerous act of making a false report to the police, in hopes of getting an armed response to the location. It is often targeted at streamers because the callers want to see the moment happen live on stream. This is a very dangerous thing to do, and can put people’s lives at risk. Recently, Twitch Streamer supcaitlin tweeted that her grandparents house was raided, because the person who hoax called the police thought that she lived there. Her grandparents are unharmed and are now fine, although they were very scared and confused.
