Freedom Fighters Maximum Difficulty Speedrun (Against All Odds) in 1 hour, 26 minutes and 16 seconds.
A much improved run over the prior ones, still in need of optimizing, but amazing progress, if I do say so myself!

I love this game, I have loved it since I was a kid! Running it without any real help has been a real treat. I think I have some really strong routes and strats in here!

The Shotgun is sick. Grenades & Molotovs are sick. Headshots are sick!

Run starts roughly 00:00:13

Police Station: 2:23

First trick of the run: 2:36
Normally, this trick would be used to save a lot of time by running straight into the Police Station. However I don't believe that is viable in this run. Doesn't save as much time, but im sure getting the Police Station completed in 1 visit saves time somewhere. Shout out to Ur-Quan the WR holder of the ANY%, who I hear found this skip!

This is where my route deviates from the Any% run. Doing anything other than jumping for your life quickly, while hugging this wall, results in death.

You can take a lot of damage here if you are unlucky! use the Medkits liberally, this is the last mission of the beginning chapter.

Hitting all 3 of these guys on the roof with a single molly is the best case scenario. They are stunned by the fire, and have a hard time shooting you. Watch out for enemies sneaking up the stairs!

Tossing a effective Molly down at that checkpoint makes advancing much easier.

Movie Theater: 26:02

Immediately screwed up by forgetting to get my two fighters \:
You want to get them in position quick, so you can Molly the patrol coming around the corner.

Try to Molly all the troops around that barrel, make sure you save some for the massive wave of QRF that comes from the checkpoint. The first one I threw at the corner looks perfect.

Power Plant: 30:26

Don't let that guy RPG your entire squad, all I have to say.

Naval Base: 37:09
Swapping my Revolver out for a Pistol before leaving home, recommended.

Second trick of the run: 38:12
Getting the General with A Molly, very reliable. Love this Trick.

Rebel Base: 38:46
Keeping a sniper for the opening felt okay, could be better.

An AK with plenty of ammo for this section is recommended. Headshots are king.

Things to note in Rebel Base: 43:45
If an enemy is ragdoll in an odd spot, the game usually won't know what to do & kill the NPC where they lie. This happens often with the Heavy armored enemy in this next room, so much so I feel the need to mention it.

Decent strat for ending of Rebel Base: 44:05
What I dub "Hot Nadeing" named after myself, of course. Its basically just tactical grenade spam, grenades in this game do wonders at making the enemy A.I ragdoll & panic via lengthy animations. Saving a good amount of grenades for this section and cleaning the room with them saves the headache of this area pretty reliably.
Just make sure to stay on the left hand side of this room, the right side is enemy dominant.

High School: 44:51

Headshots on these metal enemies are a great way to deal with them. having a HMG (PKM) Might be the best.

TV Station: 47:54

Boat Landing: 54:31
This level can be a real disaster, its really down to luck on this one.

Artillery: 1:00:49

This enemy position is rough. Nades recommended.
