And the Word was God

The LORD God of Heaven has always existed – there is no beginning with Him. The LORD has always been there and here. The beginning is when time began. And the LORD is outside of time – He is not bound by time. The Word has always existed and the Word is different from God, in a way soon to be seen. The Word cannot be WITH God if the Word is not separate from God. What we see here in verse one, is another proof of the doctrine of the Trinity. And then to cement the doctrine of the Trinity – the last phrase: and the Word was God. Before the beginning began, the Word was already there. And the Word was there alongside with God AND before the beginning began, the Word was already God. What you reading is proof of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. And proof that Jesus Christ IS God.
