A day of bowhunting in the great state of Wisconsin, Door County to be exact. You will see and hear, geese, doe and buck fawns, turkeys, a large pileated woodpecker, a squirrel, some sea gulls, chickadees, and the beautiful surroundings. I have two different deer walk directly below my stand, a doe fawn that see's my silhouette in the tree and is not sure but proceeds with caution. A doe that walks downwind of me and picks up some of my scent, she blows but later walks back past me without care. My wife was hunting with me you will see her in the stand lowering her bow. Enjoy the wilderness as we do! Look at how green those turnips tops are compared to the brown of the woods! This young buck seems to love the taste of the wild barberry leaves. She's right below me, downwind and sees contrast in the tree, if I don't move she'll be ok. The end of another beautiful fall day of hunting!
