Creating your own spinnerbait is an exciting project that can help you customize the perfect lure for catching big bass.

To make a short sided spinnerbait, you'll need some essential supplies such as wire, pliers, clasps, swivels and hooks.

You'll also need to decide what type of blade or blades to use. Once you have your materials gathered, it's time to start crafting!

First, cut pieces of wire according to how big or small you want your spinnerbait. The wire length is shorter for the Short Sided spinnerbait. Also you dont want to blade to rub the skirt.

Next, attach swivels and blades and if necessary add on any beads or components that will be part of your design - these could include things like feathers or artificial eyes for extra effects when spinning in water.

Finally add the blades such as Colorado Blades - these can be purchased pre-made from most tackle shops but they are easy enough to make yourself too simply by cutting shapes out of light metal stock sheet metal.

And there you have it – once all parts are connected securely together using pliers and knots then just head out fishing with your custom made spinnerbait! Good luck!
