Roman Catholicism Is NOT Christian

It is popular in our day to embrace ecumenicalism and assume that all roads lead to Heaven. If anyone merely affirms the name Jesus we are often quick to embrace them as a "fellow believer" what is the history of this position? How should we respond? Is there hope?
