Big Pineapple. Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

This was once the most famous of all the 'Big Aussie Icons'.
Sadly, it has been closed for over ten years - no more gift shop, rides or entry to the park.
My understanding is that the pineapple itself is heritage protected, so it cannot be dismantled (unless being relocated).
