5 officers fired following former Sacramento man's death in Tennessee

An investigation into the death of a former Sacramento man following a traffic stop in Tennessee has led to the termination of five police officers, the Memphis Police Department said Friday. The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee said in a statement this week that the FBI field office in Memphis and the civil rights division of the U.S. Department of Justice are now investigating the death of Tyre Nichols, 29.
