Basics 36 Evangelism

SBC Family,

Sorry this is a bit later than usual. I had planned to start Titus tomorrow, but I remembered that Evangelism is a subject that should be taught in a Basics class. This is the only way the church will grow. We can't expect people to come to us. We are supposed to go to them. Jesus said this in the Great Commission.

Tomorrow I'm going to share a very basic approach so you can get comfortable sharing the good news with someone. It is good news, and everyone needs some good news. If people will relax and listen they will be able to make an informed choice to believe or reject. Hopefully it is pretty practical and real life. This is something to memorize, but really you will see that you already know these things, and it's just putting things together in a way that makes sense when you explain it to someone else.

I love and appreciate you. You are in my prayers. We have everything we need in Christ. Rest in Him and His promises.

p.s. Good news from Kyle and Maddie Larson! They moved to Missoula a few weeks ago. Maddie contacted me to make sure and announce how thankful they are for our support and being so hospitable and welcoming. They have been there almost three weeks and the power of the prayers from all of us have been instrumental in a smooth transition. They miss us all.
