It doesn't really make them optional, they get filled with a space if not filled when the visitor clicks the submit button. So SystemeIO accepts the fields as filled (with a space).

The value of the field in the contact form will be empty, the space will not remain, I think SystemeIO has to "clean up" what the contacts enter by removing the excess spaces on the left and right, and since the field has only one space there is nothing left.

In the script, you must specify the form field ID attributes you want to make optional, as well as the form submit button ID attribute. There is nothing else to change.

The script can be placed in the header script, the footer script, or in any HTML element you like.
