It is vital to protect all journalists and bloggers performing their professional duties, both during military conflicts and in peacetime, from unfair, unjustified and life-threatening attacks and harassment.

Whistleblowers of corruption, war crimes and criminal acts should receive maximum security guarantees from the States of the world.

A clear and transparent international system for the protection of freedom of speech is required.

Format: Russian and foreign journalists, bloggers and party defenders will discuss personal and public safety issues of media employees in an open online format.
