Chris Hipkins to replace Jacinda Ardern as New Zealand prime minister

Chris Hipkins, the current New Zealand education minister, is set to replace Jacinda Ardern as New Zealand prime minister in the wake of her resignation.

"I'm really looking forward to the job and I'm feeling energized and enthusiastic and I'm looking forward to getting into the work,” said Hipkins.
