That is the synopsis for the Spotify Gimlet Podcast special on Max B. Todays live I'm going to be playing the episode and giving a review and reaction to it. With the release of Max B from prison via parole in April a lot of attention will be placed on Max B who a lot viewed at the time of his arrest and subsequent conviction as the next big potential superstar Rapper.

This case more so than anything also highlights the precarious and dangerous nature of the justice system. You play with your life when you go before a court of law, often times taking a plea deal is the safest bet to go because if you take your case to trial and lose, you run the risk of getting the maximum sentence
