So, to find out more about how to plant lettuce in pots or polybags, consider the following steps: Choose a pot with a minimum size of 20 cm. Fill using a loose planting medium, for example a mixture of sand, compost and manure (2:1:2).

Transfer the new lettuce with two leaves to the containers. You do this by punching holes in the planting medium larger than the root mound. Lettuce that has two leaves is carefully transferred to a larger containers or polybag.

Water carefully. Use a sprayer if necessary. Store in the shade for 3-5 days before placing it in direct sunlight.
