Friday Night Frenzy | FTX Compliance Officer Bombshell; Baldwin Charges; Kohberger Lawyer Interviews

Apparently, various attorneys, clients, and interested parties decided their New Year's resolution of becoming Public Relations specialists would start now! We've heard statements from the New Mexico District Attorney, Alec Baldwin, The Screen Actors Guild, Kohberger's Pennsylvania Public Defender (repeatedly), Sam Bankman-Fried, and the former Chief Compliance Officer for FTX, all in the same week! So, grab some popcorn and a tasty beverage, because we've got a lot to cover!

FTX & SBF - there was a hearing today (1/20/2023) in the FTX bankruptcy case on the application of Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP to act as counsel to the various FTX debtors in the bankruptcy case. In the lead up to the hearing, Mr. Bankman-Fried took to social media to make a number of new statements, and the former Chief Compliance Officer to FTX actually filed a bombshell declaration on the eve of the hearing, making all sorts of accusations of improper conduct by Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP and others. Time for an update!

Alec Baldwin Rust Charges - the New Mexico District Attorney announced that charges would be filed against Alec Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed (armorer) in connection with the shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust". We've got an interview by the District Attorney, a statement by Alec Baldwin (via counsel), and a statement by the Screen Actors Guild, who decided to weigh in with their opinions.

Brian Kohberger's Pennsylvania Attorney Interview - the court appointed counsel for Brian Kohberger, whose representation was limited to Kohberger's extradition to Idaho just keeps giving interviews, over and over again. I have thoughts, and I'm going to try and share them as calmly as possible while we review his latest interview with Chris Cuomo.
