BAKHMUT IS A TERRIBLE BLOOD BATH FOR UKRAINIAN ARMY

According to former US Secretary of Defense adviser Douglas Macgregor, the reserves that Kyiv planned to use for a counteroffensive in the south of the country were destroyed near Artemovsk.

The US colonel (ret.) said that Bakhmut, called Artemovsk in Russian, had become a major bloodbath for Ukrainian forces.

"The Ukrainians had about 14 to 15 brigades with 4,000 men in Bakhmut. All but two or three of them have now been withdrawn. They have lost 70 percent of their personnel," Macgregor explained.

He pointed out that Soledar had fallen into the hands of the Russian military, the towns around Bakhmut were gradually capitulating and it would be difficult for Ukrainian forces to hold this town. According to Macgregor's assumptions, it will therefore soon fall.
