Dear Sugu Pavithra
After hearing so much news about @sugupavithra8510 and discovering that all her videos were removed, we decided to share our heartfelt message to Sugu Pavithra themselves. We were sad at the prospect that we might not be able to see any more of their videos in the future but understood that their decision to disconnect from everything online is probably best for their family right now. Our reaction is primarily because Sugu Pavithra's videos and channel have been so instrumental for us in starting the Kumaar Family channel and create videos. We hope that this message will reach Sugu Pavithra one day.
We even decided to spend the day to cook a traditional Malaysian Indian dish called Sambar or Dhal Curry so that we can enjoy it as a family while reflecting on Sugu Pavithra's videos and how they have impacted us.

Malaysia Boleh!
Logesh's mom's Sambar / Dhal recipe:
3/4 cup of toor dhal/pigeon split peas - soak overnight (or at least 6 hours)
Boil the toor dhal/pigeon split peas with:
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 4 slices of ginger
- 1 tsp turmeric
Boil it until the peas break up (you can mash it up if you prefer thicker consistency
Once the peas has broken up/mashed, add in:
- 1 tsp sambar powder/podi (optional)
- salt to taste
- Veggies of your choice (eggplant, carrot, tomatoes, lady fingers, long beans, etc.)
- We used eggplant, carrot and tomatoes
While vegetables cook, in a separate pan, fry:
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1-2 tsp of indian mixed spices (mustard seed, cumin, fenugreek, etc.)
- handful of curry leaves
- 3-4 shallots sliced thinly
- 2-4 dried chili depending on spice level (soaked before hand)
Fry until onions are brown
After veggies are cooked, pour the fried items into the sambar and turn off the heat.
Mix nicely and add more salt to taste
