Counter Force (Wii) Gameplay -ExZeus-

The Power is You! According to the title screen. Counter Force is a port of a 2004 PAL-only PS2 game called ExZeus. Apparently it was also previously released in the arcades, and it had a sequel on PC, and you can purchase ExZeus the Complete Collection on the PC/Switch/PS4/Xbox One. The complete collection of...well...both games I guess. That's the way to do it I guess, make two games and resell them for 20 years, right Bethesda/Rockstar?

This certainly isn't a great game, but it's also not a bad game either. It's in the middle. I think I paid maybe $2 tops for this game, and I don't regret it. It definitely has that "Omega Boost at Home" feel to it. It's not a bad little arcade shooter for what it is.

Looking at all the action on the screen, it's often times hard to distinguish what you are supposed to be shooting at, or where your cross-hair even is, and I swear the controls switch every time I play this game. Maybe it's different depending on the mech I choose, but it also feels like the analog stick is constantly drifting all the way right or left.

Overall, if you find it for dirt cheap, it's worth a look. It would have been a lot better with two-player support, but it is only single player. You certainly shouldn't choose this over Sin and Punishment, but it's not a bad game.
