Very Dear To My Heart (Part Two)

Let me now speak to you concerning the leadership of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of New Testament Saints once again! For since I, for the sake of time, had to be brief when I spoke to you concerning this matter in my last speech, therefore do I now desire to add more details to this matter!
Having that said, while speaking concerning the leadership of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of New Testament Saints, let me now once again begin with the words from my last speech:
"Therefore, first of all, let us have that clear that according to Ephesians chapter five, Christ, and no other person, is the head of the church! I am speaking about the same Christ whom Stephen saw standing on the right hand of God in heaven, according to Acts chapter seven! This same Jesus, and no other person, was made flesh and dwelt among us, according to John chapter one!
Therefore we, knowing now that Christ, and no other person, is the head of the church, then what about those men of God who do operate in the church under the authority of Christ?
My answer is that I am not somebody who has all the answers concerning this matter! However, if you shall allow me to humbly speak to you about that which, according to my understanding, and according to my spirit of discernment, does seem to be something that shall be found worthy of consideration at least, then shall I now begin to speak to you about the Quorum of the Twelve, the Quorum of the Seventy, the Stake overseers, bishops, elders, and deacons of the church!"
Therefore, according to first Corinthians chapter twelve and according to Ephesians chapter four, in the day when you shall begin to establish the church after the first two brethren among you shall have baptized one another, then shall you begin to look out among you twelve men, if any be found worthy of this calling, whom you shall ordain into the Quorum of the Twelve.
The Quorum of the Twelve shall be the traveling counsellors, or special witnesses of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of New Testament Saints in all the world. For these Twelve men, under Christ, shall hold the highest authority in the church, thus differing from other officers in the church in the duties of their calling.
The elders of the Quorum of the Twelve shall look among themselves for one who shall preside over them. Namely, one who shall preside over the eleven elders of the Quorum of the Twelve. And therefore he who shall preside over the eleven, and the eleven over whom he shall preside, they together shall form the Quorum of the Twelve.
And these Twelve elders shall look out among you seventy men, whom they shall ordain into the Quorum of Seventy, according to Luke chapter ten.
The Seventy are also called to preach the gospel, and to be especial witnesses unto the Gentiles in all the world, equal in authority to that of the Quorum of the Twelve just named, thus differing from other officers in the church in the duties of their calling.
And every decision made by either of these quorums must be by the unanimous voice of the same. Namely, every member must be agreed to its decisions, in order to make their decisions of the same power or validity one with the other.
A majority may form a quorum when circumstances render it impossible to be otherwise. And except this is the case, their decisions are not equal to the same blessings which the decisions of the Twelve apostles were anciently, who were righteous and holy men.
The decisions of these quorums, or either of them, are to be made in all righteousness, in holiness, and lowliness of heart, meekness and long suffering, and in faith, and virtue, and knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity.
For the promise is, if these things abound in them they shall not be unfruitful in the knowledge of the LORD.
And in case that any decision of these quorums is made in unrighteousness, it may be brought before the general assembly of the elders of the Quorum of the Twelve. The Seventy may be present also, for these two quorums constitute the spiritual authorities of the church; otherwise there can be no appeal from their decision.
The Twelve are The Traveling Presiding High Council, to officiate in the name of the LORD, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, according to the institution of heaven; to build up the church, and regulate all the affairs of the same in all nations, first among the Gentiles and secondly among the Jews.
The Seventy are to act in the name of the LORD, under the direction of the Twelve, The Traveling Presiding High Council, in building up the church and regulating all the affairs of the same in all nations, first unto the Gentiles and then unto the Jews;
And the Twelve are holding the keys, to open the door by the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and first unto the Gentiles and then unto the Jews.
